Summer  literacy competition ; pre-school children’s work  through to final stage and are having their work published……………

  Our pre-school practitioners work closely with their key children to develop their literacy skills . Interactive activities and experiences are offered to support the development through play. Recently the children were given the opportunity to explore rhyming words to develop a poem.  These poems have been submitted for a national literacy competition and all of our children have been put forward to the national final  providing them with the opportunity to have their work published. At the setting we are proud of our children’s effort and are confident weare facilitaing our children with  the necessary  foundations for life long literacy skills.
